The little witch sat in the old graveyard and sulked.

Then she gave up and moped all the way back to her cave, grumbling the entire time. “The dead are too peaceful here,” she muttered to herself. “None of them want to wake up.”

“Well, if I can’t find a friend, I’ll just have to make one,” she decided. The little witch spent the rest of the night deep in her books looking for ideas.

Finally she found a spell that she thought might just work, but it looked complicated and wasn’t going to be easy. She packed a bag and got ready to leave the very next night.
